What's included
Good floors start with a flat subfloor
Most squeaks, gaps and hollow spots come from what's under the floor, not the floor itself. Before anything goes down we check flatness with a straightedge, screw down loose subfloor and level the low spots.

How we install a floor
Measure and test
Square footage measured room by room, and concrete tested for moisture if we're going below grade.
Choose the material
Samples in your light, in your rooms.
Acclimatize
Hardwood and engineered boxes sit in the house for the time the manufacturer specifies, so the boards adjust to its humidity before installation.
Prep the subfloor
Old floor out, loose subfloor fixed, low spots levelled.
Install
Boards or tile down with the right expansion gaps at walls and doorways.
Finish and clean up
Baseboard, quarter round and transitions installed, site vacuumed, furniture back in place.

What flooring installation costs
Flooring is priced per square foot of material plus labour.
Every quote is a fixed price for your house, with HST shown as its own line.

Yes, if the wear layer is thick enough. A thick wear layer can be sanded and refinished more than once.
